A Complete Guide to Getting Your Favorite Celebrity to Tweet You Back

Things you will need. First you will need to sign up for a twitter account at www.twtter.com it's fairly easily, and won't take that much time. If you already have a twitter, then proceed ahead. Celebrities are an interesting creature, and some are small creatures, and some are big creatures. Now what creature would you be more likely to catch? A big bear? or a little ant? A little ant. What am I getting at? Well first try to tweet smaller celebrities on twitter. If you're trying to tweet Taylor Swift then you're not likely to get a reply. Start off with someone smaller, for instance Tamera Mowry from the old show Sister, Sister. She's much more likely to see your reply, then a real popular celebrity.

One million mark

Look for the one million mark. If the celebrity has more than one million followers then the chances go way down of replying. If you can even find some celebrities below the 100,000 mark those are what we call prime targets for tweet backs. Those are the ones you wanna tweet if you're hoping for a reply. That doesn't mean it's impossible for a more popular celebrity to tweet you back, just less likely. So go to your following list, and look at all the celebrities you have added, look for the ones with less followers, and watch out for their tweets.

Be clever

Now this is important choose your tweets wisely. Don't just tweet them every time they tweet. Chances are what you're saying is not clever enough for a tweet back, and you might become annoying. Time it out. Once you see a tweet that you either can ask a question about, or say something really clever back to it, then pounce on it. Your chances go way up then. Good questions, and really clever tweets are far more likely to get a reply. Just wait for the chance. Don't force it when you have something worth tweeting them, you'll know.

Sucking up?

Does sucking up to them work? That is a very tough question to answer. Normally I'd say no, and sucking up is just annoying. But I have noticed that some celebrities do reply to a lot of sucking up tweets. If you wanna go that route then try it, but it's not recommended. Plus do you really want them to just tweet you back saying "Thanks" while you are confessing your love for them? A little embarrassing, even for twitter.

Don't be annoying

There is one rule you cannot break, and that is never ask for them to tweet you back "OMG JOHN MAYER TWEET ME BACK! PLZ" No. Just no. That works about 1% of the time, which is not a good percentage considering hundreds of thousands of those same tweets get tweeted every day. Stay away from tweeting that, don't be that person.

Timing is everything

Time is also an important factor if you're tweeting them 3-4 hours after the original tweet then it's not likely to get a reply. Wait about 10 minutes after they tweet. That way the flood of tweets replying to it are going down, so yours won't be way down on the list. You don't want to be the first, and you don't want to be the last, remember that. Timing also comes into play in another way. Look for the celebrities who tweet at night a lot, or in the middle of the night when less people are on. Your reply will stand out more because there will be less people replying to them. If you're replying to their tweet at five pm, then your chances go down.

Have a picture

Make sure you have some kind of picture uploaded. If they see no picture next to your tweet then they're less likely to reply. Make it a good picture if you can.

Twitter is a fast paced website, and you gotta be ready. Connect your phone to twitter, so you'll be ready throughout the day.

Do all of the things listed above, and over time you should get a Celebrity to tweet you back. Good luck. For those wanting a list of some Celebrities on twitter, go here celebritytweet.com
