The Man, The Myth, The Legend that is Bieber Fever
The poor Jonas Brothers. They never saw this 16 year old from Canada coming. With his perfectly sculpted hair, and dashingly handsome exterior...he is Justin Bieber. The girls (and lets be honest....the cougars) cant get enough of him, and I don't blame them. His songs are catchy, he is pretty talented. But there seems to be something else. Something missing.
When his first single came along I found myself believing it was a small pre-teen girl. Until I noticed he was singing his affections to another young girl, did I believe he was a boy. It led me to think about the young girls of today and their views of what is attractive. The Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, and Robert Pattinson are not the most rugged, George Clooney-esque men out there. They have delicate features, very skinny, and are in love with their skinny jeans.
Most of the time, they are better accessorized than their female counterparts. Am I the only one who remembers the fabulous 4 months where Joe Jonas couldn't live without his pointy toe boots? I will say that the Disney Channel set of teen heart throbs are better than years past. Chris Brown was adored by many girls just a few years ago...and look how well that turned out.
