With the Hollywood awards season in full swing, the 46th National Society of Film Critics Awards winners were announced on Saturday night (January 7).Selecting the best in cinema from 2011, the National Society of Film Critics picked Lars von Trier's "Melancholia" as the Best Picture of the year with "The Tree of Life" and "A Separation" placing second and third, respectively.
As for the individual accolades, Brad Pitt garnered Best Actor honors for his work in "Moneyball" and "The Tree of Life" while Kirsten Dunst was named as Best Actress thanks to her role in "Melancholia".
