Celebrity Apprentice: Teresa Giudice, Lisa Lampanelli Eliminated

Celebrity Apprentice. It's hair today, gone tomorrow for Teresa Giudice and Lisa Lampanelli on The Celebrity Apprentice.

Given the boot after failing to measure up as the project manager during the week's task to conceptualize a print ad campaign for Farouk Systems' touch screen hair dryer Giudice, 39, was slammed by her Unanimous teammates Arsenio Hall and Aubrey O'Day for dropping the ball. (For the record, Giudice confirmed her main contribution to the task was and we quote "overlooking the whole thing.")

Competitor Lampanelli, 50 who learned her fate later in the episode argued that Giudice didn't stand a chance against Hall and O'Day in the boardroom.

"You can't fight someone who's unarmed. That's what the Real Housewives have seen all along. You just sit there, give her a rope and she hangs herself," Lampanelli, who won the task with Clay Aiken, snapped of Giudice.

Quickly fired by Donald Trump, Giudice challenged his decision. "I don't think Mr. Trump fired the right person, but I'm proud of myself that I made it this far," she said. "I wanted to prove to people that I'm not just a Housewife, that there's more to me than that."

Though Lampanelli's Team Forte won the task, the comic was dumped by Trump after going through an interview round with last season's victor John Rich and runner-up Marlee Matlin.

Asked by Matlin if it was appropriate to cry in the boardroom, Lampanelli reasoned that all women show their emotions in the boardroom, which led Matlin to tell Trump she didn't think the comic could be an effective leader if she let her emotions get in the way.

Agreeing with Matlin, Trump axed Lampanelli but the comic took her ouster in stride. "My experience here was really cool. Hey, I was fired by Mr. Trump in the most pleasant way possible," Lampanelli said. "There was no fight, I have no headaches from it it's almost like I went out on this high note."
