Taylor Swift will perform at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
The 'Love Story' singer will debut a new song from her upcoming fourth studio album 'Red' at the ceremony, which takes place at Los Angeles' Staples Center on September 7.
The country music singer - who is a six-time GRAMMY Award winner - will make the third VMA performance of her career at the star-studded ceremony.
Comedian Kevin Hart is hosting the event and Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and the 2012 Gold Medal-winning U.S. Women's Gymnastics Team, known as the 'Fierce Five', have been confirmed as presenters.
International chart toppers Green Day, Alicia Keys and One Direction are set to perform at the ceremony.
As well as Taylor, Pink will also use the ceremony to debut a new song.
The 'So What' hitmaker recently admitted performing at the awards is "extra special" as she was banned from watching music channels when she was younger.
She said: "Being a part of the VMAs for me is extra special because my mom never let me used to watch MTV as a little girl.
"I would watch it anyway but she would also try and ground me but then I would just sneak out my window and go to someone's house that had MTV. So to be on MTV is quite ironic."
