Salma Hayek looked stunning in a plunging black and gold gown at the 2012 Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany, last night.

Salma Hayek wowed in a plunging floor length black gown as she accepted an honour at the Bambi Awards in Germany last night.

The Mexican actress received an accolade in the Film International category at the 2012 ceremony held in Dusseldorf, which is Germany's premiere celebrity awards show.

Salma made the most of her curvy figure by donning the glamorous high-impact dress that included gold piping detail on the edges.

Salma added gold bracelets and bangles to her wrists to highlight the gold detailing on the gown and styled her hair in a centre parting with cascading loose curls falling down into the V-neckline of the dress.

The 46-year-old Hollywood star also paid attention to detail with her handbag for the occasion, opting for a vintage looking black and gold evening purse that she carried slung low on her shoulder.

The exotic star received praise from the award judges for being the first Latino actress to make it into Hollywood's A-list.

Salma smiled as she posed with her award and kissed the shiny gong on stage during her acceptance speech.
Also present at the event last night was singer Celine Dion and boyband One Direction.
Celine arrived on the red carpet wearing a stone grey off-the-shoulder gown with a bow detail at the waist and a slight train.

The singer sported a total of three different glamorous frocks during the evening, which included a short fringed gold gown for her performance on stage.

The star then changed into a fitted floor-length metallic sequined dress later as she accepted her award in the entertainment category.

Stylish British singers One Direction arrived in matching black skinny jeans. The heartthrobs maintained their slick look by sticking to a neutral colour palette, this extended to the blazers and waistcoats they rocked on the red carpet.
