Michelle Dockery wants to star in 'Homeland'.
The 'Downton Abbey' actress - who portrays Lady Mary in the ITV1 period drama - loves the CIA TV show and its rival 'Mad Men' and admits she enjoys watching the drama programmes a lot more than sitting down to take in a long film.
She said: "I'd love to be part of an American show. I'm obsessed with 'Homeland' and 'Mad Men'. All I really do is watch box sets. My brain is programmed now to only watch things for 40 minutes then go on to the next episode. Films feel like they're too long nowadays."
The 30-year-old star is keen to appear in a production alongside Kristen Wiig - who played the lead female role in 2011 comedy movie 'Bridesmaids' - because she believes the 39-year-old star is "one of the most talented actresses" in the industry and thinks she will learn a lot from her.
She added to Stylist magazine: "I'd love to work with Kristen Wiig; I watched her on 'Saturday Night Live' before she did 'Bridesmaids' and she's one of the most talented actresses around. And Edie Falco, who played Carmela in 'The Sopranos' and is in 'Nurse Jackie'.
"You learn different things from different people; it's not necessarily specific, often it's just watching the way they work. Working with Charlotte Ramping [in 'Restless'] was amazing as I've admired her career since I was 16. Shirley MacLaine was fantastic; her body of work is incredible and she is such a lovely person. We all missed her when she left ['Downton Abbey']."
