Dungaree: Behold the Revival of 90s Looks
Is everyone ready for a 90s relapse? No? Well, you better be because dungarees are back, people! For anyone who are too lazy to look it up, a dungaree is, well, how to put this?—it really simply an overall. You know? The whole thing made out of denim and used by people when working as it acts more like protective layer so the worker shall not get spilled by liquids and then some. And you are wondering, how can something basically mundane be fashionable? Well, if you put it that way, it cannot. But listen to this, many celebs are seen donning one and the result is surprisingly cute. Like, super cute! If you keep insisting that there is no way an overall can be used to help you display your fashion prowess, wait until you know that Sarah Jessica Parker wears hers and then we’re talking.

Yep, true that. SJP is spotted running an errand in NYC while sporting her dungaree style and she is one to show how it’s done. The classic blue denim apparel looks amazing on her and you must by now droll over your computer to see how perfectly refreshing the piece is. TV presenter Alexa Chung knows how to up her game wearing a dungaree. She has been spotted in an airport comfortably sporting a dungaree paired with a shirt underneath. With a pair of ballet flat shoes, oversized shades, and a trench coat by Burberry, which she wears on by shoulder-robing, Chung really takes a dungaree to another level of awesomeness.

A dungaree is already casual in itself. But look at what Lily Collins has done: She wears it half undone, further strengthening the casualness of a dungaree to an even higher level. Rihanna wears one, too! And she wears it magically fabulous. With a Bardot-sleeved crop top underneath a dungaree, coupled with a sweatshirt tied over her waist, she knows that 90s look is a killer and everyone should just give the simple dungaree a try.

Rihanna’s Hair through the Years
Rihanna’s Hair through the Years: See How the Singer Continuously Set the World on Fire with Her Style
One of the things about popstars is that they repeatedly change their style into something they think will fit into the latest trend—or more like starting the trend itself. The continuous shift of the life of an artist expands; instead of being limited to said artist’s getup, evolution can also be noted from the hair. It goes without saying that hair is one of the natural fashion elements that can be altered, manipulated, twisted, or improved to accommodate celebs’ wish to be in a way they see can still burn their image to the mind of the fans. Take Rihanna, for example. Over the years, the Barbadian singer has evolved into something more of a hair chameleon. She is practically the epitome of ever-evolving change in fashion.

Back then before she went from a good girl into a bad one, she wore her hair long. Sleek hairdo she sported can be reminisced through the pics of her after winning the 2006 Billboard Music Awards for Best Female Artist of the Year. In February 2007, she cut off her long hair and wore it bob-style with an accentuation of side fringe. In July of the same year, she still wore her hair bob-style but she instead dyed it black and made the fringe straighter across her face. January 2010 saw drastic change wherein she decided to chop off the side of her hair completely in order to sport an updo with blonde dye.

As if she hasn’t done enough to shock the world, again in February 2011 Rihanna made a sensation by ditching her punk-inspired hairdo for frizzy, voluminous take and dyed it red. The red hair signature lasted for about a year until she decided to go for her natural hair color with a dash of blonde highlights and curls. And, bam! In December 2012, she chopped her hair off again, now with pixie-cut and dark color. But in February 2013, she let her hair grow long and dyed it strawberry blonde plus some wavy locks.

Rihanna's TV show axed
Rihanna's first TV show 'Styled To Rock' will not be back for a second series because of production issues.

Rihanna's debut TV show 'Styled To Rock' has been axed.

The Sky Living show - which saw designers battle it out to create a stage outfit for the singing star - has been cancelled after it failed to draw in enough viewers, with production crew blaming the hectic schedule of the pop stars who took part for causing problems.

A source told MailOnline: "Scheduling all these pop stars with our filming schedule was a nightmare.

"Rihanna's diary was manic, and to be honest, after it struggled for viewers it was always going to be difficult to get her to agree to do another series."

The show - hosted by Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts - had singers including Cheryl Cole and Kanye West take part during its short run.

Rihanna herself only appeared in three episodes of the show.

A spokesperson for Sky Living said: "It is far too early to make a decision if the show would return for a second series.

"After every big launch, we undertake extensive research with our customers, and will make a decision when we evaluate the results."

Rihanna likes to work hard and party even harder, but her punishing schedule and boozy nights out are beginning to have an effect on her - and her Dad is worried.

Ronald Fenty told The Mirror: "When I saw the pictures on Twitter I was worried like everyone else."

A few weeks ago, Rihanna tweeted a picture of herself hooked up to a drip in hospital in New York. According to rumours, the star had been out drinking and partying for a ridiculous 61 nights in a row.

Ronald added: "The truth is she was suffering from flu and exhaustion."

The singer's concered Dad flew from Barbados to the US to tell her to take care of herself. "I sat her down and said she needed to take things easy. I told her it was important to chill out a bit, look after herself and not take too much on for a while."

Despite denying she had been unwell, Rihanna did cancel a UK TV appearance to "spend more time with [her] family."

Rihanna is currently gracing the cover of Esquire in her raciest shoot yet, where she revealed that she wanted to watch Cheryl Cole "picking up stuff on the floor. Bending over. She's hot!"

The S&M singer is famous for her wild lifestyle, but friends are concerned her antics are damaging her health.

She recently had a scare when she ended up in hospital after a night out in New York and that prompted her dad, Ronald Fenty, to have a serious talk with her about her social life and heavy workload.

He was concerned after seeing the photo Rihanna posted on Twitter of herself hooked up to a drip and flew from Barbados to the US to see her.

'The truth is she was suffering from flu and exhaustion. She'd also lost a pound or two in weight and just wasn't feeling well,' he told the Sunday Mirror.

'Even so, I sat her down and said she needed to take things easy. I told her it was important to chill out a bit, look after herself and not take too much on for a while.'

Just weeks after the New York incident, Rihanna missed a flight from London because she had overindulged at a party staged by Jay-Z and Kanye West.

However, she does seem to have belatedly taken her dad's advice, as she has pulled out of a planned trip to the UK to film a TV show and will instead take a holiday with her family in Barbados.

Rihanna continues to reign supreme on Billboard's Social 50 chart this week. She holds at No. 1 on the tally, reeling from media excitement generated by her film debut in "Battleship." Further, a series of remixes of her popular single "Where Have You Been" hit iTunes last week.

The Social 50 chart ranks the most popular artists on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, using a formula that blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays.

"Where Have You Been," from Rihanna's sixth studio album "Talk That Talk," rises 13-11 on the Hot 100 this week, continuing to be one of the most popular tracks from the pop star's late 2011 release. The remixes EP, released May 22, features remixes by Hardwell, Papercha$er and Hector Fonseca.

Lady Gaga furthers her progression on the chart, moving 5-2. Continuing the story from last week, on May 27 Gaga officially announced the cancellation of her June 3 show in Jakarta, Indonesia. Lady Gaga took to Twitter and Facebook to make the announcement to her fans:

"We had to cancel the concert in Indonesia. I'm so very sorry to the fans & just as devastated as you if not more. You are everything to me. I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown. #GagaSendsLoveToJakarta and all its people."

Fans were issued a full refund on their ticket purchase for the sold out show. "It's unfortunate," said Minola Sebayang, a lawyer for concert promoter Big Daddy, told the Associated Press. "But with threats if the concert goes ahead, Lady Gaga's side is calling it off. This is not only about Lady Gaga's security, but extends to those who will be watching her."

Despite disappointment from fans over not being able to see the Gaga, her online fan acquisition showed no sign of waning. It earned a 12% increase over the previous week.

Linkin Park continues its climb up the chart as well, moving 15-8 to re-enter the top 10 for the first time since last July. The band performed the first of a series of concerts promoting its forthcoming album "Living Things" In Lisbon, Portugal on May 26. That show came two days after the MTV Premiere of its "Burn It Down" music video on May 24, a song that the group also performed May 20 on the Billboard Music Awards. All of this promotional activity generated extra buzz around the band, helping it earn an 18% increase in overall plays across VEVO and MySpace during the charting week.

Elsewhere on the chart, popular YouTube animated band Your Favorite Martian experienced substantial gains during the charting week by hopping aboard the Gotye bandwagon with its own cover of "Somebody That I Used to Know." The cover has received over 3,000,000 views since its May 23 release. That's certainly a nod to the sustained popularity the original single continues to have on the Internet as it enters its seventh consecutive week as No. 1 on the On-Demand Songs chart.

As for the rest of the top 10, Adele tumbles (2-3) as does Skrillex (3-4), while Katy Perry rises (7-5). Justin Bieber's continues to descend the tally as he falls 4-6, making room for the aforementioned artists who had more substantial online activity. Nicki Minaj falls (6-7) as does One Direction (8-9). Jennifer Lopez remains steady at No. 10.

Rihanna opened up to Ryan Seacrest Thursday morning on his Kiis FM radio show about her blonde hair, fashion aspirations, weight loss and why she collaborated with Chris Brown on those two remix tracks.
On her decision to go blonde: "I want to go black and I was in a natural color so it was easier to go blonde first. Now I am attached to it (the blonde hue) and keep going lighter and lighter but it's easy to go to black from here."

On her weight loss: "I have no idea how I continue to lose weight. I'’s actually pretty annoying because I have no butt. It's an issue. I'm eating McDonalds at like 3 a.m."

On her new commercial for VitaCoco: "It’s all about nature and health and coconut water, which is very good for your skin, especially after a hangover."

On her fashion career: "I have a small collection that I do for Armani – 7 to 10 pieces, apparel and accessories. The fall collection is already done and the spring collection is coming up. I am also pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to earn it so I am working with designers that I respect and companies that I respect. I want people to trust me before I can say, 'Buy this because it's mine.'"

On her two songs with ex-boyfriend Brown: "The first song that came about was 'Birthday Cake.' I reached out to him about doing 'Birthday Cake' because that is the only person that made ... sense to do the record. Just as a musician, despite everything else. I thought about rappers and the hottest R&B artist right now is Chris Brown, so I wanted him on the track and in return, he said 'Why don’t you do the remix on my track?' We did the two records so our fans could come together, there shouldn’t be a divide. It’s all music."

Getting back in touch with her homeland’s culture, Rihanna was spotted participating in Barbados’ Kadoomant Day Parade today (August 1).

The “Russian Roulette” songstress showed off her fabulous form in a festive and skimpy getup as she waved to spectators.

In career news, Ri-Ri is said to be working on a new album already, and producers Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph and Verse Simmonds told press it’s gonna be tight.

“From what we understand, she is closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved and we’re really excited about them as well. They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts.”

With a celebrity-studded crowd looking on, Rihanna rocked the halftime show at the NBA All-Star game on her 23rd birthday.

She had other big names helping her sing her hits Sunday, with Drake joining in on "What's My Name?" and working "happy birthday" into the lyrics. Dripping in gold chains, a red-clad Kanye West came out for "All of the Lights," which is off his latest album but features Rihanna.

At halftime, the lights inside Staples Center went out and the video screens filled with water droplets, setting the stage for Rihanna to emerge from behind a wall singing "Umbrella."

The red-haired singer soon shed her short black suit jacket and white scarf to reveal a short black skirt and a rhinestone halter. She shimmied her way through "Only Girl (In the World)" and didn't flinch when her huge hoop earring fell off her left ear in mid-song.

While it was a working day for Rihanna, her fellow music stars relaxed in their seats while watching the 60th annual All-Star game. The West team, led by Kobe Bryant's 37 points, defeated the East 148-143.

Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z sat courtside, with Justin Bieber (MVP of Friday's All-Star celebrity game) two seats away. Sean "Diddy" Combs, Stevie Wonder (wearing headphones), Grammy winner Bruno Mars, Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Gene Simmons, and "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler were scattered around the arena. Rapper Nicki Minaj snacked on pink cotton candy.

Later, Rihanna sat courtside next to 16-year-old Bieber, making for a striking contrast between her flaming long hair and his famous shaggy 'do.

Benny, the Chicago Bulls mascot, jumped into the seat next to singer John Legend and his girlfriend-model Chrissy Teigen to joke around.

Canadian singer Melanie Fiona sang her country's national anthem, and Los Angeles native Josh Groban did the U.S. anthem. With plenty of fog swirling, Lenny Kravitz played during the pregame introductions.

Among the movie and TV stars in attendance were Dustin Hoffman, Spike Lee, Warren Beatty, Rick Fox and girlfriend-actress Eliza Dushku, and Nick Cannon (without wife Mariah Carey). CNN talk show host Piers Morgan furiously worked his cell phone during most of the action.

Snoop Dogg, Terrell Owens, Chris Tucker, tennis star Venus Williams, and actors Forest Whitaker, Noah Wyle and Ellen Pompeo took in the show, too. Los Angeles Lakers fan Jack Nicholson was bumped out of his usual courtside seat.

Actress Gabrielle Union walked the magenta carpet outside the arena before the game, dishing on her boyfriend, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade. "His closet is way bigger than mine. He's way, way, way into clothes that his closet is like five times the size of mine," Union said.

Wade loves different scents, too. "He is a little bit obsessed with the smell of cocoa butter. He loves it for himself," she said. "He's got, I think, over 30 different colognes." If the fashion police had been on patrol, they might have cited former NBA great Darryl Dawkins.

Standing 6-foot-11, the man nicknamed "Chocolate Thunder" for his ferocious dunking ability made an even louder statement by wearing a lime-colored pinstriped suit. As soon as Orlando Magic forward Dwight Howard spotted Dawkins, he couldn't help but offer a critique.

"He looks like a big lizard. Aw-w-w, man," Howard said. "I thought last night's suit was terrible, but then he came out today looking like a highlighter? That's probably one of the worst suits I've ever seen in my life."

While Howard and many of the other arriving NBA players dressed up in suits and ties, Lakers star Bryant dressed down in jeans and a black leather jacket.

Don't expect any congratulatory hugs between former lovers Chris Brown and Rihanna at Sunday's Grammy Awards.

Although both stars are nominated for awards, a court order remains in place for the singers to steer clear of each other.

The stay-away order is a remnant of Brown's 2009 assault case, in which he admitted beating Rihanna in a rented sports car after a pre-Grammy party.

Concerned about the former couple reconnecting, a judge ordered them to stay at least 50 yards apart for the next five years. The lone exception was if they both attended a music-industry event, where they would have to stay at least 10 yards apart — a lot more than an arms' length distance.

Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, says his client would like the order downgraded so the pair could be in closer proximity without risking Brown's probation. But he says no discussions about requesting a new order from the judge have taken place.

Etra says the pop singer has put the incident behind her.

"Rihanna's doing great," he said. "She certainly hopes Chris is doing well."

Rihanna joined Jay-Z onstage Sunday night in Los Angeles to sing "Run This Town" and her Young Jeezy-assisted track "Hard." While it wasn't her first performance since she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown in February, it did mark the first time she's performed any new material from the upcoming Rated R album.

Rihanna told MTV News on Monday that she was ushering in a "new era" at the concert.

Rihanna will preview Rated R on Monday in a worldwide telecast from a performance taking place at an undisclosed location in London.

Singer. Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20, 1988, in St. Michael Parish on the Caribbean island of Barbados. She is the eldest of three children born to Monica Fenty, an accountant, and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor. Rihanna's childhood was marred by her father's struggles with addictions to alcohol and crack cocaine and her parents' marital problems they divorced when she was 14 years old.

However, since that time, Rihanna's father has managed to conquer his addictions and the pair are now very close. "Now my dad is like the coolest person on the planet," Rihanna says. "He doesn't smother me. He lets me live my life. And he's been like that a lot, even when I was younger. He would watch me making a mistake and he wouldn't stop me.

My dad, he lets me make it and then I learn." Rihanna also struggled with crippling headaches for several years during her childhood, a condition she attempted to hide from her friends and classmates so that they would not think she was abnormal. "I never expressed how I felt," she remembers. "I always kept it in. I would go to school ... you would never know there was something wrong with me."

As a teenager, Rihanna turned to singing as a release from her troubles at home. She formed a girl group with two classmates; when they were 15 years old, they scored an audition with music producer Evan Rodgers, who was visiting the island with his Barbadian wife. Rogers was awed by the precociously beautiful and phenomenally talented Rihanna, to the unfortunate detriment of her two friends. "The minute Rihanna walked into the room, it was like the other two girls didn't exist," he admitted. Less than a year later, when Rihanna was only 16 years old, she left Barbados to move in with Rogers and his wife in Connecticut and work on recording a demo album. "When I left Barbados, I didn't look back," Rihanna recalled. "I wanted to do what I had to do, even if it meant moving to America."

In January 2005, Rogers landed Rihanna an audition for Def Jam Records and its newly minted president, the legendary rapper Jay-Z. "I was in the lobby just shaking," she recalled. However, once Rihanna opened her voice to sing she regained her composure. "I remember staring into everybody's eyes in the room while I was singing, and at that point, I was fearless," she said. "But the minute I stopped singing, I was like, 'oh my God, Jay-Z is sitting right in front of me."

The hip-hop icon was every bit as wowed by Rihanna's stunning voice and commanding presence as Rogers had been two years earlier, and he signed her on the spot. "We made a little Godfather joke," Jay-Z remembered. "We said the only way she could leave was through the window." Only eight months later, in August 2005, Rihanna released her first single, "Pon de Replay," a reggae-influenced club track that skyrocketed to No. 2 on the Billboard singles chart and announced Rihanna as the next big up-and-coming pop star. Her first album, Music of the Sun, released later that month, reached No. 10 on the Billboard albums chart and also featured the single "If It's Lovin' That You Want." Rihanna released her second album, A Girl Like Me, the next year, spawning two major hits in "Unfaithful" and "SOS," Rihanna's first No. 1 single.
