Lindsay Lohan tweeted a "note to self" hours after paramedics rushed to a Marina del Rey hotel in response to concerns that she was ill.

The actress was exhausted and dehydrated when paramedics examined her Friday but is doing fine and will continue filming her current movie, a spokesman said.

Following the incident, on her registered Twitter account, Lohan tweeted Saturday in two consecutive posts: "Note to self.. After working 85hours in 4days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion & … 7 paramedics MIGHT show up @ your door.... Hopefully theyre cute. Otherwise it would be a real let down."

Lohan is filming a Lifetime television movie in which she portrays Elizabeth Taylor.

The incident came a week after Lohan's Porsche collided with a dump truck on Pacific Coast Highway.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash, which sent Lohan to the hospital for observation.

A spokesman said Friday that Lohan was feeling better.
"She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon," spokesman Steve Honig told The Times' Ministry of Gossip.

"Lindsay has been working a grueling schedule for the last couple of days," Honig told the E! News website. "She was exhausted and went back to her room to sleep. Producers were apparently concerned and called the Fire Department, and paramedics found her sleeping but determined that she was fine, just extremely exhausted and slightly dehydrated."

The crash on PCH occurred during an upswing in Lohan's fortunes after several years of incidents that had her in court numerous times. Lohan has said she's learned her lessons from the problems.

She was on probation for a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence. Since then she has also been convicted of shoplifting and was on probation for that offense as well.

Lohan was sent to jail several times for violating the terms of her probation, but she followed a strict regimen of counseling and community service at the county morgue. In March, a judge ended her probation in the DUI case and reduced the shoplifting probation to unsupervised status.

Uh-oh.

Tuesday, June 12: Lohan's name is attached to "The Canyons," a Hollywood drama from writer Bret Easton Ellis that will also feature adult-film star James Deen. Lohan will reportedly play Tara, girlfriend to Deen's Christian, a "trust fund kid, power player and major manipulator, who is a film producer that enjoys filming his own three-way sex sessions."

Thursday, June 14: "The Canyons" producer Braxton Pope acknowledges Lindsay's reputation to MTV News, saying, "What's kind of lost in a lot of the Lindsay discussions is the fact that Lindsay is a very talented actress. Lindsay Lohan had hoped to reveal her first-ever Playboy cover during an appearance next week on "The Ellen Degeneres Show," but as with most things Lohan, this, too, has not gone according to plan.

The sexy cover shot was leaked online Tuesday on the website The Insider.com. It shows Lohan, in just a pair of black heels, straddling a red plastic chair in the shape of Playboy's iconic bunny to strategically cover her up. The "Mean Girls" actress runs her hands through her long blond cascading hair.

Lohan will offer a more detailed look when she sits down with Degeneres Dec. 15, which will be her first media appearance since she served 4½ hours in jail for violating her probation. Her appearance comes just ahead of the January/February issue of the men's magazine hitting newsstands.

Her rep assures that the inside shots are nothing but classy.

"The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay," Steve Honig told the New York Post.

Playboy chief Hugh Hefner said the photo shoot channeled old Hollywood.

"[It's a] classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe," Hefner told the entertainment show "The Insider."

"It turned out very well. I would say that I had some reservations early on, but after a couple of false steps, everybody came on board and it's going to be very exciting," Hefner said.

Apparently, Hefner was not satisfied with the first round of images after Lohan's initial shoot in October. He had the actress return for a reshoot with "a new theme."

Lohan pocketed close to $1 million for the Playboy spread, according to TMZ .

The money will surely come in handy for the financially strapped starlet. But will it help jump-start her career?

This would actually be Lohan's second time posing nude. The first time was in 2008, when she restaged a series of famed photographs of Marilyn Monroe for New York magazine. The magazine's online traffic jumped significantly, but Lohan didn't see much improvement in her career and her negative rating for celebrity likability actually increased.

Lindsay Lohan was handcuffed and taken into custody after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Saunter revoked her probation stemming from her January shoplifting case. Saunter set Lohan’s bail at $100,000 and set a probation violation hearing for Nov. 2.

Lohan arrived in court on time, wearing a flowing white dress and scarf. She wore her hair pulled back in a ponytail; her face appeared heavily made up with blush, eyeliner and lipstick.

Saunter lambasted the 25-year-old actress during the 40-minute long hearing. At issue: Lohan’s termination from the Downtown Women’s Center and decision to do community service at the American Red Cross instead. In July, Saunter sentenced Lohan to 360 hours of community service at the Downtown Women’s Center, a safe haven for L.A.’s homeless women.

“Ms. Lohan’s actions deliberately made it impossible for her to perform her sentence at the Downtown Women’s Center,” Saunter said, referring to Lohan’s hectic work travel schedule. Saunter said she “will not give her any credit” for Lohan’s work at the Red Cross noting, “nobody has the power to change my sentence.”

Saunter said that when Lohan got terminated from the Downtown Women’s Center, “she should have immediately enrolled in the morgue.” “It’s eight hour shifts, they don’t mess around,” she said of the morgue. “You show up and do what they tell you to do.”

Saunter made frequent reference to Lohan’s inability to fulfill a seemingly manageable sentence.

“You’re praising her for completing 12 hours in six months when most people could do that in one or two weeks,” Saunter told Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan’s lawyer. “A year is a generous amount of time and the way I can count, she’s got 57 out of those 60 days left to do.”

“Probation is a gift,” Saunter said. “And there’s something called looking a gift horse in the mouth.”

At one point, Saunter read from Lohan’s probation report that explained why she didn’t enjoy working at the Downtown Women’s Center. “Her words: ‘The service was not fulfilling.’ Is that what a sentence is about?,” Saunter asked. “It’s to fulfill the defendant?” She paused before answering her own question, “No.”

“We all can’t be fulfilled by what we do,” Saunter said later.

Holley had a bail bondsman at the hearing, but even if Lohan is released on $100,000 bail, she’ll have work to do before heading back to court on Nov. 2. Saunter decreed that Lohan do two eight hour shifts a week between now and Nov. 2, for a total of 32 hours.

While on house arrest back in April, the “Mean Girls” star sat down for an interview with a furry puppet for the New Zealand TV show “On the SkyCouch with Rico.”

Troubled US starlet Lindsay Lohan said Thursday she would never steal, a day after she pleaded not guilty to the theft of a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles jewellery store.

The 24-year-old actress told followers on her Twitter account that she had not been brought up to be dishonest -- and also lamented "absurd" press comment about a tight-fitting dress she wore to court on Wednesday.

"I would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal," said Lohan, who was released on bail after her latest brush with the law, but warned she could face jail if she breaks the law again.

"Also, what I wear to court shouldn't be front page news. It's just absurd. God bless xox L," she said, in reference to the clingy shot white dress she wore to court.

Lohan, who completed a court-ordered spell in rehab for drug addiction last month, allegedly walked out of the jewellery store in Venice Beach -- the seafront area of LA where she lives -- with the gold necklace on January 22.

The actress, who is on probation for a 2007 drunk driving offense, could face up to three years in jail if convicted on the grand theft charge.

She checked out of the Betty Ford clinic near Palm Springs last month, following a spell there after she was briefly jailed in September for failing a court-ordered drug test.

Lohan was sentenced in July to serve 90 days in jail and another 90 days in rehab for violating her probation in a drunk-driving case. But due to jail overcrowding, she served just 13 days before being freed to the detox facility.

A queen of Hollywood nights and a favorite target of the paparazzi, the former Disney child star was once considered one of the most promising actresses of her generation.

But Lohan's career has dipped many times since 2005 amid legal woes, visits to rehab and movie flops.

In 2007, she spent just 84 minutes in jail after police arrested her twice for cocaine possession while driving -- in one instance crashing her Mercedes-Benz into a tree.

In 2008, the "Parent Trap" star received two Razzie Awards, the satirical prizes presented to Hollywood's worst acting performances.

A day that began with authorities confirming Lindsay Lohan was being investigated for battery on a female staffer at a California rehab facility treating the starlet ended with the worker fired after giving an interview about the incident.

Riverside County sheriff's detectives said Tuesday they are investigating the "Mean Girls" star for an alleged altercation with a worker at a Betty Ford Center facility in Palm Desert that occurred after 1 a.m. on Dec. 12.

The agency declined to say what prompted the fight, but said the worker was interested in pursuing charges against Lohan.

Betty Ford spokesman Russ Patrick said the staffer was fired for identifying patients at the center in an interview and "disclosing a privileged document."

Although Betty Ford and the sheriff's department did not identify the worker, she appeared in an interview on celebrity website TMZ on Tuesday afternoon and was promptly fired. She claims the 24-year-old Lohan and two other girls had sneaked out of the facility.

In the video, Dawn Holland claims she was trying to get Lohan to submit to a breathalyzer test when the actress became belligerent, pushed her and snatched a phone from her hand, straining her arm.

Attempts to reach Holland were unsuccessful. A phone number registered to her was not accepting calls Tuesday evening.

Lohan has not been arrested or charged in the incident. Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in an e-mailed statement that it was the actress who called for police.

She declined to offer additional details, citing the ongoing sheriff's investigation.

While the fallout for Holland was swift, Lohan's situation remains unclear. A judge has ordered her to remain at Betty Ford until Jan. 3 and remain out of trouble until Feb. 25. He also ordered her to submit to all drug and alcohol screenings or face up to six months in jail for violating her probation on a 3-year-old drunk driving case.

Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said Lohan's case would be presented to prosecutors, who will decide whether Lohan faces a new charge.

Lohan has been receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center and its facilities, about 120 miles east of Los Angeles, since late September.

Patrick's statement said that until Tuesday, Betty Ford had upheld the confidentiality of 96,000 patients who had received treatment there since it opened in 1982.

He said Holland's interview was a breach of trust and the rehab process.

"When patients come to the center for treatment, they come to a safe place where their identity is protected, where anonymity is safeguarded," he said in an e-mail. "Their simple priority when in treatment is to learn how to live a life free of alcohol and other drugs.

"Confidentiality and trust are key to the treatment and recovery process."

Lohan's stint at Betty Ford is her fifth stay in rehab and her second this year.

Beginning in July, she was jailed for 14 days, followed by three weeks at inpatient rehab. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox agreed to release her early from treatment at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in late August based on doctor's recommendations.
